In Bak Bak Bilal’s latest episode, Bilal Jaleel is back with his crazy antics this time at the Girgaon Chowpatty beach, speaking to grandparents about love and marriage. He asks the older generation about love then v/s love now and what true love means to them.
While some of them shared their experience of never having seen their partner before marriage, others said that they had a long relationship with their future spouse before they tied the knot. When asked if he should do a love or arranged marriage, most of the grandparents suggested that Bilal should go for the good old concept of arranged marriage.
When a group of middle-aged women were approached with this question, they straight up rejected the idea.
Even more interesting was the grandparents’ response to the latest dating apps, like Tinder and Bumble, and the new concept of ‘live in’ relationships among young couples. When a group of middle-aged women were approached with this question, they straight up rejected the idea. They said, “We do not accept it. We do not like it.” Some of them declared that the best way to find a match was to regularly attend family functions and weddings.
When Bilal asked one of the women what qualities should he look for in a girl, one of them promptly replied - “Anyone would do, just not a Christian or a Muslim!”
Watch as Bilal takes on the older generation of Mumbai and speaks to them about the world’s biggest mystery - true love.
