Business tycoon Anand Mahindra is quite taken with sharing all things quirky and unusual with his followers.
A recent example of which was him tweeting a video from a Greek club which was playing ‘Lamborghini’, a massively popular variation of the popular Bollywood song ‘Tum Rooth ke Mat Jana’ from the 1958 film Phagun.
The 64-year-old, who is currently on holiday in Greece, commended India’s “soft power” while sharing the video.
The video soon went viral and aroused amusement and pride in equal measure.
Global Desi
A few users shared other instances of people grooving to Indian beats internationally.
A user shared a video of a football game where cheerleaders danced to the beats of AR Rahman’s sensational ‘Jai Ho’.
Netizens were more than delighted to see desi culture making its mark globally.
Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani
Mera Bharat Mahaan
Indians were super proud to see the Bollywood culture spread world over.
And then there were a few who wanted to see what was behind the camera.
