Indian media houses have always been famous for dramatising every event that occurs in India; be it petrol pricing, political rallies or even natural disasters. Although I would like to clear #NotAllMediaHouses. It is very disturbing and disappointing but at the same time it is also very hilarious to see a few reports.

We hear a lot of commentary on such reports either through social media posts, memes, stand up comedy and more.

When it comes down to making fun of something then nobody is better than the ‘All India Bakchod’ guys famously known as the AIB. We got two of the AIB guys Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya to comment on news reporting in India. They shared their thoughts on news coverage - everything from petrol prices, natural disasters, political rallies to the most widely covered topic on the spectrum, celebrity weddings.

They had a lot of fun things to say about each one of them and they also took digs at the current government, while comparing the news coverage of Rahul Gandhi vis a vis the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi at political rallies.

They also compare themselves to Shah Rukh Khan when he’s drunk as they discussed the stars dancing at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding.

The media covering a natural disaster is a natural disaster.

On Air with AIB season 3 will see Tanmay Bhat, Gursimran Khamba, Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya presenting their signature satirical take on the social issues facing the country. It is safe to call them journalists on the show. This season will feature three segments that will see a host of topical issues covered on Mondays, followed by a deep dive into a particular topic on Wednesdays, while Fridays will see an ad hoc, off-the-wall conversation, Off-Script which is one of my favourite segments of the show.

Watch On Air With AIB, now streaming on Hotstar.
