Dear soldier,
You stand at the border to protect us from enemies, no matter what the situation is. Through winter, summer or rains, we are able to sleep peacefully at night because of you.
You protect and guard us, and you serve as a role model. You’ve taught us that women are not just meant to be in the kitchen or bear children. I realise the kind of physical training you must have undertaken to reach there.
Hats off to your courage and determination to be in the Indian Army.
It is said that a river cuts through the rock, not by it's power, but through persistence. You are an example of that. You are a daughter, a wife, a sister or perhaps a mother too.
We need more women like you. Thank you for always being there for us. Keep up the spirit!
