U2 is an Irish rock band from Dublin. The band was formed in 1976 and has four members – Bono, an Irish songwriter, who is the lead vocalist and guitarist; Edge, an Irish musician, who is the lead guitarist, keyboard player, and a backing vocalist; Adam Clayton, an English-born Irish Musician, who is the bassist of the band; and Larry Mullen Jr who plays drums and is the percussionist of the band. They have won the Grammy awards several times in their career.

The Joshua Tree Tour is a celebration of their 1987 album. The drummer of the band, Larry said, “Mumbai will be the perfect city to end the JT 2019 tour” and the band's bassist Adam Clayton added, “We are looking forward to bringing a dash of Dublin to Mumbai. India is famous for its rich culture of art, music, movies, theatre, literature, food and so much more. There is a lot of excitement in the U2 camp.”
