First up, everybody knows how hard it is to rent a place that ticks off all the boxes on your wish list. We tenants don’t really need much, except for – a well-maintained and ventilated house; parking space; and zero to negligible interference from landlords. Now, the first criteria is, more often than not, the one we compromise on. We have heard, and experienced way too many horror stories regarding leaky roofs and seepage in the walls that when we saw this Asian Paints ad, our first reaction was ‘OMG all this be sooo true!‘
The ad starts off with the landlord promising the young couple, who are checking out a house while it is undergoing repairs, that he will get the place waterproofed before letting it out. Our eyes rolled back so hard that it hurt because TBH, like the broker says, once a leaky house always a leaky house. But then sh*t gets serious when the landlord mentions ‘water-proof ki warranty’ and that he will hand over the house for free if the problem recurs. WHAT.WAS.THAT.AGAIN?
The good guy broker jumps at this opportunity, sidelines the couple by offering double the rent and decides to take up the homeowner on his offer. But what he obviously doesn’t know is that Asian Paints take water-proofing freakin’ seriously. The process involves bridging the interior & exterior cracks with Smartcare Crack Seal & Hybrid PU Sealant.
Six months turn to 2 years and despite all the broker’s antics, which include hosing the roof for hours at a stretch and pumping water on to the exterior, there is no seepage sighting!
And if this ad is anything to go by, then Asian Paints’ Smartcare is going to make a lot of homeowners and tenants very happy! Click here for more information.
