- You’ve realised that of late your productivity level at work has dipped.
- You’ve been avoiding all the after-work plans your friends make because you seem to have no energy left by the end of the day.
- You often make weekend plans with family and back out at the last minute because you’re just too fatigued and in no mood to step out.
Do you identify with any of these or even all of the above situations? Well, then it’s quite likely that you have poor muscle health which is in turn affecting the quality of your life. It’s impacting the time you spend with your friends and family, and your social life in general. You end up missing out on all the smaller joys that life has to offer.
Poor muscle health is an enormous problem, and if left unattended, it can negatively impact your day-to-day lifestyle and overall health.
The bigger problem here is also that of awareness. While there is plenty of information around hypertension and diabetes, a lot of people are unaware of the perils of poor muscle health. That’s exactly what Protinex’s latest campaign #DontMissOut is all about.
As part of this campaign, Protinex aims to reach out to 1,00,000 working professionals and sensitise them on the importance of good muscle health.
They have been conducting workshops at top MNCs of the country with the help of their diagnostic partner Inbody and nutrition partner Argoya World India Trust, educating employees about the importance of protein along with how good muscle health is essential for living an active and a happy life. After testing their muscle health score, employees were told how adequate protein intake plays a key role in ensuring they #DontMissOut on fun-filled moments with their loved ones.
The #DontMissOut campaign started in the run up to Protein Week 2019. For the uninitiated, Protein Week is celebrated every year from July 24 to 30 to make people aware about the importance of protein in building muscle health. A campaign such as this was long due in India where people go about their busy lifestyle without focusing on their health. This also explains why protein deficiency continues to remain a major challenge in India.
So far, through this campaign, 40,000 working professionals have been sensitised about the importance of muscle health across various cities including Noida, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The aim is to reach 1,00,000 working professionals by the end of this year.
Initial findings from the campaign show that at least 6 out of 10 working professionals suffer from protein deficiency and have a poor muscle health score.
This statistic is proof of the low levels of awareness around muscle health that exist among working professionals. Clearly, the #DontMissOut campaign couldn’t have come at a better time.
By now, we know that you too have got thinking about your muscle health which is a good thing because the earlier you start paying attention the better it is. Along with following an active lifestyle, it’s essential that you include adequate proteins in your diet. And Protinex has you covered on this front. It ensures that you get the right amount of protein intake that keeps your muscles healthy. So switch to Protinex and #DontMissOut on the little moments that truly make life special.
