Karwa Chauth, a Hindu festival where married women observe a fast for their husbands' well-being and long lives. The festival is celebrated on the fourth day, or chauth after the Purnima (full moon night) of Kartik month in the Hindu calendar.

Karwa Chauth 2021 is being celebrated on Sunday, 24 October 2021. According to Drik Panchang, the Chaturthi Tithi will begin at 03:01am on 24 October, and will end at 05:43 am on 25 October.

The fast is observed without taking any food or even a drop of water after sunrise till the sighting of the moon in the night.

Karwa Chauth 2021: Puja Shubh Muhurat and Upavasa (Fasting) Time

Karwa Chauth Puja Muhurat begins at 05:43 pm, and will end at 06:59 pm.

Whereas, Karwa Chauth Upavasa (fast) time is from 06:27 am to 08:07 pm.
