Remember the iconic confrontation scene from Deewar between Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor. Bachchan proudly lists out his material achievements, until Kapoor shuts him up with ‘Mere paas maa hai’. If you revisit the scene, you will find that one of the things Bachchan mentions is ‘bank balance’.
Imagine how the same scene would’ve been had Kapoor started laughing at the very mention of ‘bank balance’. Will this scene have ended the same way as the original? Well, well, in case you can’t stretch your imagination that far, let us introduce you to this video that has already thought of this alternative scene and its ending, and it’s rather funny.
Watch the video here.
Now that you’ve watched the video, better be careful of using the term ‘minimum bank balance’ around people, else your bhai might just laugh at you and your maa might disown you. And if you ask us, that serves you right. When you have the option of a zero minimum balance account, we don’t see any reason why you should even think two times before opening one. It’s nothing short of a little revolution.
Say for some reason you decide to withdraw all the money from your account, you wouldn’t have to worry about being penalised. Your account will have zero rupees and life will still be the same. You may have some explanation to give to your maa and bhai as to what exactly you did with all that money though. We know that this takes ‘go cashless’ to a new level altogether, but isn’t it a cool feature?
