Rakhi Sawant
Rakhi Sawant is Indian dancer, model, film and television actress and talk show host, who has appeared in a lot of films in various languages. She has been seen in reality shows as a host, judge or participant, and is a regular stage performer. She debuted in Agnichakr under the name Ruhi Sawant and went on to do other roles and dance numbers in Bollywood films like Joru Ka Ghulam, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain and Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke.
On 26 March 2014, she announced her plans to contest in Lok Sabha elections as an Independent Candidate and on 28 March, she founded the party called Rashtriya Aam Party (RAP). Sadly, she lost after receiving only 15 votes and resigned from Rashtriya Aam Party and joined RPI (Athavale) party in June.
Roopa Ganguly
Roopa Ganguly is an Indian actress, playback singer and politician. A veteran in Bengali parallel cinema, she is known for her versatile body of work. She is known prominently for her roles in films like Kaaler Rakhal, Chowrasta - The Crossroads of Love, Chaurahen, Na Hannyate and Dutta Vs Dutta.
She also won many awards, including the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer, National Award, Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards and Kalakar Award. In October 2015, she was nominated as the Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, by the President of India.
Imran Khan
Imran Khan is a former Pakistani cricketer turned politician. He debuted for Pakistan at the age of 18 during the 1971 English series at Birmingham. He made 3,807 runs and took 362 wickets, and has captained the Pakistani team twice. Khan retired from international cricket in 1992 after playing for almost two decades.
In April 1996, Imran founded the Pakistan Movement for Justice, a centrist political party, and became the party's national leader. He remains a popular political figure and is the author of Pakistan: A Personal History, among other writings.
Jhulan Goswami
Jhulan Goswami is an all-round cricketer who plays for the Indian national women's cricket team, Bengal Women, East Zone Women as well as the Asia Women XI women's cricket. She’s noted for both her batting and bowling (right arm medium) capabilities. She debuted for India at the age of 19, against England. In 2008, she became the fourth woman to reach 100 wickets in ODIs at Asia Cup.
Goswami is the highest wicket taker in WODIs, going past Australian Cathryn Fitzpatrick’s record of 180 wickets. She has won a series of awards including ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year, the Arjuna Award, and became the second Indian woman cricketer to receive the Padma Shri.
