This is for all you lachrymal Indian celebs – get a grip people, and stop crying on prime time to get high TRPs (Tear Rating Point).

Everybody cries. But it’s too much to see you guys burst into tears at the drop of a hat.

So, we at The Quint, thought decided to list down a few cry babies who have whined their way through 2015.

Aamir Khan

It seems Aamir Khan is chopping onions All The Time! Boy, the man just can’t stop crying. It’s like he’s got a water tap attached to his eye socket. Aamir cried at the launch of the third season of Satyamev Jayate. He cried after watching Bajrangi Bhaijaan (cursing his stars for saying no to the film), Katti Batti (cursing his nephew for showing him the film), and Margarita With A Straw (cursing his wife for recommending the film).

Is Aamir Khan allergic to watching movies? Or is the perfectionist trying to get that perfect teary-eyed look for his upcoming film?

Rajdeep Sardesai

Rajdeep Sardesai pulled a Gandhi on us this weekend. The journalist blogged about religious toxicity, and the rise in violence and intolerance among people.

Ironically, this very same ‘wise’ man found himself in the middle of an ugly brawl at Madison Square Garden, last year. Rajdeep, who was trolled and received flak for his behaviour, decided to turn on the water works. The 30-minute-long video on the Dadri murder was like any other regular show.

The veteran journalist unfortunately allowed the politicians to speak first – which means, Mohammed Sartaj (who should have been the man of the moment) got sidelined. Rajdeep also went ahead and pulled off an Arnab Goswami by cutting off the neta’s audio. The show had all the drama, conflict, politics, but was short on empathy, and emotions.

Barkha Dutt

If Rajdeep Sardesai can, so can Barkha Dutt. If Rajdeep blogged in about 250-odd words about his emotionally difficult weekend, Barkha used a faster medium and tweet in 140 characters of how Corporal Mohammed Sartaj made her cry. Rajdeep’s interview with Sartaj was aired on 1 October, a few days before her weekly show We The People. Rajdeep was not only the first ‘to cry’, but also the first to blog and get those TRPs.

Salman Khan

Following his contemporaries, Salman Khan too has now started to shed a few crocodile tears on his film sets (Prem Ratan Dhan Payo), on reality shows, and even inside courtrooms. But actually it’s bhai’s fans, friends and family who have cried over his reckless acts (from killing endangered animals for sport, to running over human beings).

Now he’s ‘a man with a heart’ and a few tears. This is what ‘being human’ is all about (Hopefully, before he gets behind the wheels, again).
