Ladies, if you like going to the mall or the movies and have been nurturing dreams of marrying one of the two sons of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, you’re in for some bad news. At the occasion of Lalu’s 70th birthday, when she was asked what kind of bahus she is looking for, mama Yadav said:
Cinema hall aur mall jane wali ladki nahi chahiye. Ghar chalaane wali, bade buzurg ka aadar karne wali, jaise ki hum hain, waisi ladki chahiye. (I don’t want girls who go to cinema halls and malls. They should be able to look after the house, respect elders, and manage outside work, just like me).Rabri Devi to Times of India
Of her two sons, Tej Pratap and Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi said she particularly wants a “well-cultured” girl for the former who is very religious, reported The Times of India.
Though Rabri Devi has spoken about the kind of daughters-in-law she is looking for, it is unclear at this point if the two sons, both established businessmen and ministers, share similar views as their mother.
