On 24 April, CBSE had decided to do away with their controversial ‘moderation’ policy, which has been criticised for increasing marks of different students by different amounts.
However, on Tuesday evening Delhi High Court ordered the board to put their ‘no moderation’ policy on hold until 2018. The students who appeared for their board exams in 2017 will be marked under the ‘moderation’ of marks policy.
In the run up to the class 12 board exam results, The Quint spoke to a few students who have appeared for their board exams this year. The students talk to us about the unfairness of the CBSE’s moderation policy, high stress levels and college admissions.
