Dismissed BSF jawan, Tej Bahadur Yadav, on Monday said that he will be organising a one-day protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi to urge the government to act against corruption in defence forces.

“My colleagues in the army will be there at our protest and they will explain each and every corrupt practice in the defence sector. My fight is not against any religion or political party, but it is against the system,” he said.

Yadav was in Mumbai on Monday to attend a prayer meeting organised by Mumbai Congress to pay tribute to jawans killed by Naxalites and the Pakistani Army, The Hindu reported.

He said that he will tackle his suspension legally and added that “around 80 percent of the officers in the forces are corrupt.” “The Government sent us 18 different food items but several times, the authorities gave us only khichdi,” he said as reported by India Today.

Attending the meeting, he said that he didn't have any political aspirations, but he would support any political party which will end corruption in the defence sector.

Talking about the beheading on the Indian soldiers, he said, “If one Indian jawan is killed, kill one general of Pakistan. Killing Pakistani jawans is of no use. Surgical strike on general’s houses is the answer, not the ones done on the eve of elections."

Yadav, in January, had posted two videos on Facebook on the poor quality of food served at the staff canteen. Yadav was dismissed from service in April when a court martial enquiry found him guilty of indiscipline.
