Senior Congress leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has alleged that the party failed to make a mark in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi polls because of a lack of involvement of the local leadership.
The party was not able to reach out (to voters) the way we should have. Any excuse can be given when you don’t want to do anything. The decision has to be taken by the high command. The leadership needs to introspect.
She accused Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken of failing to involve senior leaders like her in the poll campaign.
I was not asked for campaigning then how could have I gone for it.
