A day after Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi made damaging allegations against Narendra Modi, he struck again with a warning of possessing "personal information” on Prime Minister’s corrupt practices.

He blamed “terrified” Modi for not allowing him to speak during the Lok Sabha proceedings. Further, he claimed that his “expose” will “burst his balloon”, but the revelations will only be made inside the House.

“It is my right to speak... I was chosen as a Member of Parliament by the people of Hindustan, Amethi (his constituency),” a rather irked Gandhi said.

BJP Reacts to ‘Baseless’ Allegations by Rahul

Rejecting as "baseless" the allegations levelled by Rahul Gandhi against Modi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar on Wednesday said they were made out of "desperation" and asked the Congress Vice President to apologise.

On Rahul's accusation against the Prime Minister, Kumar said:

Had he any information, he would have said it by now. It is a baseless allegation. He is saying this out of frustration. Today they are saying they are not being allowed to speak. It is wrong because everyday Congress members are coming to the well of the House. Now they are trying to spread rumours and baseless allegations.
