Right wing Hindu Sena, an ardent supporter of Donald Trump, celebrated his victory in New Delhi.
Hindu Sena had already declared victory for Trump on 4 November and hosted an event at Jantar Mantar to celebrate the victory. Before that they held hawans to attract good luck for Trump when he was running for president.
The right wing group has been left smitten by Trump’s love towards Indians, specifically Hindu Indians and his disdain towards radical Islam. The members held posters that read, "India Loves Trump" and "Trump Our Only Hope".
On 14 June, Hindu Sena religiously celebrated Trump’s birthday.
The Trump family didn’t leave any stones unturned when it came to ensuring Indian American votes. From celebrating Diwali to celebrating aarti, they have had done it all.
Recently Trump had said “I am a big fan of Hindu”. A group of Indian supporters based in the US also posted a video which has Trump saying the famous tagline that got Modi into power, “Ab ki baar Trump sarkar”. Indian Americans constitute a whopping 3 million of the total population in USA.
