17-year-old Raped Over a Year, Accused Sends Video to Her Brother

A 17-year-old girl has accused her friend of raping her on several occasions and sending the MMS clip to her brother

A 17-year-old girl has accused her friend of raping her on several occasions over a year.

The victim, in a complaint to police, alleged that Akshay (22) fed her sedative-laced food and then raped her.

The accused had also reportedly made an MMS of the act and threatened to post it on the internet if she denied him sexual favours, the police said.

The girl finally approached the police when the accused sent the video to her brother on WhatsApp.

The accused has been arrested and a case has now been registered against the accused under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and Section 4 of the POCSO Act.
