Gurugram, April 17 (IANS) A couple and a woman, all in their 30s, were found murdered on Tuesday in the Aravali foothills in Gurugram district, police said on Tuesday.
Police said Chhidiya, the husband of one of the deceased Komal, was missing. The other two dead were lakhan and his wife Sheela.
The two families hailing from Madhya Pradesh's Panna district were living in Ghamroj village near Bhondsi on the Sohna Road here for the last one year. They were labourers employed by a construction contractor.
A senior police officer said the four had gone on Monday to collect fuelwood and were reported missing.
"The throats of the three victims were slit. One of the bodies had an animal bite mark. No sharp object or weapon was seized from the spot," a police officer who did not wish to be named told IANS.
The post-mortem reports of the victims were awaited to find whether the two women were sexually assaulted before they were killed.
Though Chhidiya was the suspect nothing can be said till his arrest, police said.
