This week’s Q&As below:

Dear Rainbowman,

I am an NRI man. I have never had sex. So in a way you can say that I am a virgin. I have had mouth sex but. I have put lips and penis in my mouth. After mouth sex, I have gargled and spat. Will I get HIV?

Mooh Kaala, South Africa

Dear Mooh Kaala,

Thank you for sharing your sex-adventures with me. The act you engaged in is not called ‘Mouth sex’. It is Oral Sex. Chances that you have HIV by oral sex are very very less, though one can’t rule it out completely. The chances of one getting HIV is more in cases of blood to blood contact. I mean, if you guys were having unprotected anal sex and both of you’ll bleed, then the chances of transmission of HIV is more, if one of the partners is positive. The chances are dim that you would be HIV positive. Still, I guess it would be a good idea to visit the doctor for a quick test.

Be positive in your attitude.

P.P.S.- This one’s a PJ. What comes after 68?
Answer: Mouthwash.

Dear Rainbowman,

I am a bisexual man. I have revealed to my wife that I am bisexual. I like to watch my wife have sex with my boyfriend. Is it wrong?

Regards,
Mister Threesome, Somewhere

Dear Mister Threesome,

Well, who am I to judge what happens in your bedroom? I have a few concerns though – I hope your wife and boyfriend are economically independent and emotionally independent to take this decision. I hope you are not forcing them into it. For if you are, and she complains, you will be a party to the abuse, and India has strict laws against woman harassment. So, don’t even think about forcing someone into it. Willingly, with an adult or more, in private and with consent of all, are the three things you need to keep in mind.

Regards,
Rainbowman.

Dear Rainbowman,

I have been following your posts on TheQuint. I wonder how can a homosexual understand heterosexual issues.

Intellectual, Mumbai

Just as a heterosexual can understand homosexual issues. The issues at the core as the same, yet they are different. One doesn’t need to be homosexual to understand the challenges that homosexuals face. One needn’t be a heterosexual to understand the challenges heterosexuals face. One just needs to be empathetic and humane and understanding. That’s it. I also understand animal issues, I don’t even have a tail.

I suck at answering questions like these. Hope I didn’t disappoint you.

Hugs,
Rainbow Man
