Hold up, is this man for real?
Aamir Khan, the human chameleon has recently lost 17 kg to essay the role of Mahavir Phogat in the biopic Dangal. He went from 97 kg to 80 kg in just 5 months.
So how did he do it?
He says it’s 50% diet, 25% workout and 25% rest. He followed the old calorie-count method and consumed only 1500 calories a day.
According to Aamir, the key is a balanced diet.
Let 20% of your calorie intake be from healthy fats, 30% of calorie from proteins and the rest 50% of the calories consumed should be from carbohydrates.Aamir Khan
He adds that one shouldn’t be shy of carbohydrates, because that’s the fuel your body and mind needs. He also worked out 6 hours in a day, and slept for 10-12 hours. Phew!
