Many famous cosmetologists in India think that after turning themselves towards chemical based beauty products, people are opting for Ayurvedic products again.

Speaking to The Indian Express, Suraj Vazirani, Founder of The Beauty Co. said that he felt that people had started using Ayurvedic products again. But they wanted these products with a touch of technology. He said that he felt that technology can help personalize beauty products for the people according to their skin, color, allergies and countries.

Shahnaz Husain, who has been in this industry for over 20 years, also said that technology helped in creating a database of the customers in order to make beauty products according to an individual’s preferences.

Another perspective about Ayurveda and Artificial Intelligence technology comes from Vedika Sharma, Director at Mantra Herbal. She told The Indian Express that she believed that technology had helped Ayurveda to evolve over the years. It had made the research about Ayurveda easier and helped create modern and better technology to manufacture new products.

Manish Chowdhary, Co-Founder, WOW Skin Science (Fit & Glow) also added to this perspective and said that AI could be used to generate intelligent data from clinical research done during product formulations. This data helped tweak formulations to be most effective.

Vivek Sahni, CEO and Co-Founder, Kama Ayurveda gave an example of combining technology with Ayurveda. He said that they created face wash in a bottle that could convert the cleansing formula into foam.
