It’s got glamorous shows, spectacular performances and adventurous rides that you can bet your money on. Here are the five of our favourites.
1. Krrish: Hero's Flight
Soar through the skies across the multihued landscape of India with your personal escort - superhero Krrish. This 4D flying theatre ride gives you panoramic views of India's spectacular landmarks and a front row seat to the battle to save Earth from an alien invasion.
2. Ra.One: Unleashed
Imagine Ra.One, more powerful and on the loose again. You, get invited to the exclusive unveiling of a revolutionary product, the Game Glove Controller, hosted by the founder and CEO Prateek Subramaniam, son of Shekhar Subramaniam, the legendary designer and creator of the villain Ra.One and the hero G.One. But things take a turn for the worse, and G.One’s archenemy Ra.One comes to life, more powerful than before and determined to wreak havoc. This thrilling 4D virtual ride will take you right into the battle.
3. Sholay: The Hunt for Gabbar Singh
Set in the Rustic Ravine Zone, this 3D interactive dark ride arms you with laser guns to shoot dacoits, who are led by Gabbar Singh from the cult film Sholay. You have to compete with your friends to score the most hits. Hang around and treat yourself to some mangoes as you improve your aim and the competition.
4. Lagaan: The Thrill of Victory
Join Bhuvan and his team in a game of cricket against the British Raj, and you’ll be transported right back to the sets of Aamir Khan’s super hit movie Lagaan. The exciting game is a motion simulator based ride that gives you the best point of view of a moving cricket ball and it even makes you a little dizzy. Yes, it’s that real.
5. Jaan-E-Jigar: The Musical
This iconic landmark is the heart and soul of Bollywood Parks Dubai. With several packed shows every week, this world-class venue plays host to UAE’s first Broadway-style Bollywood musical, and my favourite is Jaan-E-Jigar. It’s a journey through the different eras of Bollywood and film buffs like me will love the colours and the performances.
