2. Bandh Observed in Rajasthan as Protests Escalate Against Padmavati

Even as Gujarat BJP appealed to the Election Commission to stay the release of Padmavati before the polls, protests are erupting in Rajasthan against the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. A bandh was observed today in Chittorgarh with people walking in protest of the Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh-Shahid Kapoor-starrer.

3. ‘Baaghi 2’ First Look: A Grim and Bloody Tiger Shroff on the Prowl

The first look of Tiger Shroff - Disha Patani’s upcoming film Baaghi 2 is out and it looks bloody - quite literally. A still from the Ahmed Khan film shows a grim and injured Tiger complete with a stubble, crew cut and of course bulging biceps.

The film is set to release in April next year.

The American Film Market is an annual event where films are sold, financed and acquired.

The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, written by Luc Bossi is adapted from Romain Puertolas’s acclaimed 2014 novel, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe and also stars Berenice Bejo of The Artist fame, among others.

5. Kamal Haasan Booked for ‘Hindu Terrorists Exist’ Comment

Actor Kamal Haasan, who had recently stated that ‘saffron was not his colour’, has been booked under IPC sections 500, 511, 298, 295(a) & 505(c) for his comment on Hindu terror. The actor had recently taken on the Hindu right wing in his latest column in Tamil magazine Vikatan. The matter is scheduled to be heard on Saturday, reported ANI.
