Ekta Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar reunited with Smriti Irani recently and clicked a selfie that transported us right back to that era of Indian television, when these three ladies rocked prime time viewing.
Smriti Irani was Tulsi of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi for the world before she got into politics, while Sakshi Tanwar was Parvati of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki before her Bade Ache Lagte Hain and Dangal stardom. The woman behind their success was none other than Ekta Kapoor, the founder of Balaji Telefilms. Ekta brought our favourite faces from TV together for the launch of her new digital venture, ALT Balaji.
The ladies clicked a reunion selfie too.
In case old memories are flooding your head, here’s a look back at the title tracks of both these iconic shows, that pretty revolutionised Indian television in their own right.
Ekta also shared a selfie with Mona Singh and her crew at the launch event.
