Like every year, Bigg Boss was prepared to have its finale in January. However, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the show has been extended by 5 weeks. The finale will now air in February 2020. The same report states that to convince Salman Khan to host the show for five extra weeks, the makers will be paying him an extra Rs 2 crore per episode, as Salman has had to push back on other commitments to continue with Bigg Boss.

In last night’s episode of Bigg Boss, the contestants took part in ‘BB College’ task which put them all in a college-like set up. Some were assigned the roles of teachers and others of students. Whoever won the task would be in run for the captaincy position.

Taking a break from their usual fights and arguments, the housemates also celebrated Mahira Sharma's birthday by singing birthday songs and giving her birthday bumps at midnight.
