The latest episode of Koffee With Karan saw the Baahubali trio director SS Rajamouli and actors Rana Daggubati and Prabhas make their debut on the Koffee couch. Here’s what we learnt about the Baahubali boys in this candid episode that had us giggling throughout.
Prabhas: Action Hero On Screen; L.A.Z.Y. IRL
According to director SS Rajamouli, the reason why Prabhas, who plays the title role in the Telugu version of Baahubali, appears to be single is the fact that he’s just plain lazy. “He is a very lazy person and he is too lazy to get married. It would be too much work for him to find a girl and talk to her parents. That’s why he isn’t getting married,” he said.
Rajamouli also mentioned that though Prabhas is an introvert - apparently this was his first television appearance - he was also a prankster whose quiet nature means he never gets caught.
Here’s the Deal With Prabhas-Anushka and Rana-Trisha
Much has been speculated about the nature of Prabhas relationship with Baahubali co-star Anushka Shetty as well as Rana’s ties with actor Trisha. Both maintained that they’re “just friends”.
But during the rapid fire round, Prabhas said he would like to set up Rana with Trisha, while Rana said he found Deepika to be the hottest among current Bollywood actors and voted to set up Prabhas with Katrina.
The First Day After ‘Baahubali’ Released Was Tense
The trio aid they had agreed to be each others’ emotional support during the release of Baahubali: The Beginning. Rajamouli was supposed to join Prabhas and Rana in Mumbai but he was held back in Delhi thanks to a press conference. Rajamouli revealed that it took them a few days to gauge whether the film would be a hit because though audiences in North India and Tamil Nadu offered a positive response from the get go, the Telugu audience took a moment to come around.

During the rapid fire round, Rajamouli confessed that his daughter was a big fan of Karan Johar. She once made him pout while taking a picture only to tell him that Karan does it better.
