In the latest episode of the Star Plus’ daily soap, Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, the show’s newly married lead characters Rohit Sippy (Karan V Grover) and Sonakshi Rastogi Sippy (Dipika Kakar Ibrahim) are seen in a romantic rain dance sequence, and fans can’t stop talking about the duo’s onscreen chemistry.

In the episode that aired on Hotstar this morning, Sonakshi, who is shooting a rain sequence in her show Kahaani Parvati Ki, visualises her hubby Rohit in place of her co-star Sumit. What follows is a dream sequence in the rain between Rohit and Sonakshi on the song ‘Tumhe Apna Banane Ka Junoon’ from the film Hate Story 3.

Rohit and Sonakshi’s love story in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, and Karan and Dipika’s onscreen chemistry have been loved by television fans since the beginning. And the sizzling chemistry in latest sequence between the two has set Twitter on fire.

The show began to trend on Twitter as fans raved about the sequence. While some called it the “best rain sequence” on TV, others said it was “sensuous”.

In the show, a newly married Sonakshi is conscious about doing an intimate dance sequence with her co-star Sumit as she wonders how her in-laws would take it, especially since her profession has already created some problems in the family. But hubby Rohit supports Sonakshi, asking her to focus on her work, and not think about what others would think.

This week, amidst a lot of drama, there have been several romantic scenes between Rohit and Sonakshi that have been much-talked about on social media, including a hilarious comic sequence where each is mistaken that the other desires to use handcuffs in bed.

Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum is a love story between Rohit Sippy, a surgeon, and Sonakshi Rastogi, a TV star, who fall in love and get married, but have to navigate their starkly different family backgrounds and the demands of their respective professions.

The episode with the rain dance sequence will air on Star Plus at 9:00 pm tonight.
