The actor, who starred in a contemporary rendition of Doctor Faustus on the London stage off season last year, will next be seen in the upcoming BBC One drama Gunpowder. He would be playing Robert Catesby, the mastermind behind the plan to blow up the Houses of Parliament on 5 November, 1605, alongside Tom Cullen and Liv Tyler.
