Episode 4 left many Game of Thrones fans frustrated. Daenerys Targayren’s second child, Rhaegal, died quiet unexpectedly in an ambush by Euron Greyjoy’s fleet, her close confidante Missandei was executed by Cersei Lannister, sending her into a rage and a coffee cup made its way to the party after The Long Night at Winterfell.

Game of Thrones season 8’s episode 5 thus becomes a very crucial one. All the fan theories about the endgame of the show will be put to the test, and show creators David Benioff and DB Weiss, who have co-written the next episode with its director Miguel Sapochnik, have a lot of pressure to deliver a satisfying end to the TV series.

Promotional pictures of the episode 5, released by HBO, don’t reveal much more about the plot developments than the teaser did, but it definitely gives us a sneak peek at happenings at Dragonstone and King’s Landing, which will be at the centre of a devastating storm as armies get ready to go to battle.
