After the leak of episode 6 of the latest 7th season of the Game of Thrones, the makers may have to gear up for yet another leak - this time the season finale.

According to a report in The Economic Times, the hacker entity which call themselves ‘Mr Smith group’ have threatened to release the finale of Game of Thrones season seven much ahead of its air date.

Earlier this week, multiple HBO Twitter accounts were hacked. The hackers also threatened to release the passwords for a number of HBO social media accounts as they claimed to have access to many HBO platforms already.

As per reports in Metro.co.uk, the same group has claimed to have stolen 1.5 terabytes of data from HBO via hacking, including scripts of Game of Thrones and personal employee data.

On 16 August, a group known as OurMine hacked into the Twitter and Facebook accounts of HBO and some of their shows including Game of Thrones, Veep, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Silicon Valley, Ballers, and more.

The hackers left messages on the network's pages calling for followers to make “#HBOHacked” trend and declared that they were only looking to demonstrate the vulnerabilities in HBO's security.
