As a finalist of Top Model India, Mahir Pandhi has a lot to say. So The Quint decided to meet him before the finale of the show to know what’s behind the works. Mahir Pandhi has a made it to the top three, along with fellow contestants Aishwarya Suresh and Shehzad Deol. Mahir says he felt transformed from the very first task itself.

Watch what he has to say about the unique format of the show, the judges (Lisa Haydon, Atul Kasbekar, Anaita Shroff) and his mentor, Shibani Dandekar.

Mahir insists that to make it to the top three on the show, paying attention, even to the littlest thing, matters the most. The model-in-making speaks about his daily routine which he follows to the tee, simple because of the fickle nature of his career, and the short shelf-life of a model. The one thing the model has learnt on the show comes from judge Lisa Haydon and that is that one bad photo can make or break a modelling career.

As an English reality television series, Top Model India is broadcasted on COLORS INFINTY. The show follows the format of the 2003 American reality television series America's Next Top Model that was created by Tyra Banks. The format of the show is unique - we see men and women actively compete with each other. The finale of Top Model India will be broadcast on Sunday 8 April at 8pm.
