No Bigg Boss season is complete unless Salman Khan schools the participants in every Weekend Ka Vaar episode. Some consider it bullying on his part, while for some it is Bhai’s way of improving the participants’ behaviour.
In one of the recent episodes of the reality show, Salman was apparently on a slamming spree. He went all out lambasting Karanvir, upsetting the latter’s fans, and his wife, Teejay Sidhu.
She penned an open letter on social media on how Salman is targetting Karanvir. Salman got back this weekend when he asked Karanvir if he thought he was humiliating him and that he would not be interacting with the TV star any more, thanks to Teejay’s letter. A surprised Karanvir said indeed he was having a lot of fun on the show, and apologised to Salman on behalf of his wife.
Karanvir even requested Bigg Boss to allow him to speak to Teejay, so as to clear up the misunderstanding.
His wife, Teejay Sidhu had earlier taken to social media to post her grievances. ‘It's okay to joke around and tease someone, but there comes a point when a person may be feeling genuinely upset. He may smile, but it doesn't mean he's happy, it just means he is trying not to show his pain,’ she wrote.
With more support pouring in for the Naagin actor, his Shararat co-star also tweeted against the unnecessary mocking.
Nigaar Khan, sister of Bigg Boss Season 7 winner Gauahar Khan also tweeted in his support.
After the last episode, fans clearly couldn’t take it more and expressed their disappointment on social media whilst slamming Salman Khan for his behaviour.
It is not the first time though that Karanvir has been ‘targeted’. Since the premiere night, KV’s fans have been feeling that Salman is finding unnecessary reasons to ridicule Bohra. From giving him Top Ki Salaami, to mocking his choice of clothes and style, to asking him in the latest episode if he had a sex change operation done - Karanvir’s humiliation by Khan has gone a tad bit too far.
