Sony TV’s Kaun Banga Crorepati got its fourth winner of the season as Bihar’s Ajeet Kumar won Rs 1 crore on Tuesday night. He managed to reach the final question of the game-show but couldn’t win Rs 7 crore as he chose to quit on that question.
The Rs 7 crore question was, ‘Who is the first cricketer to score two T20 international fifties on the same day in two different matches?’ The options were Nawroz Mangal, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Shahzad and Shakib Al Hasan. Ajeet Kumar admittd to having no clue about the answer and chose to quit and take home Rs 1 crore. After quitting, he guessed the answer to be Nawroz Mangal, whereas the correct answer was Mohammad Shahzad.
The ex-railways employee said in an interview that he plans to use the amount to form rehabilitation centers for convicts. “The amount is a big one and it will definitely help me in getting a better lifestyle for my family. It is enough to use it for all our necessities,” he said in the interview. He is currently preparing to be a jail superintendent.
“I want to help people around me who need financial aid, so a sum will also be spent there. And if it’s possible, I would like to help in forming rehabilitation centres for convicts.”Ajeet Kumar, KBC contestant
The show’s last crorepati was also from Bihar, Gautam Kumar Jha. The other two crorepatis of KBC were Sanoj Raj and Babita Taide.
