Our favorite yet flawed genius is back! Well, the teaser of the latest series of BBC’s TV series Sherlock, which is to air in 2017 (sigh) is, at least.
Just the way the previous series ended with the cliffhanger ending with Moriarty’s “Miss Me”, the teaser of the upcoming season 4 begins with Sherlock’s warning, “Something’s coming. Maybe it’s Moriarty, maybe it’s not. But something’s coming.”
With this new teaser, it looks like the new season is going to be more intense and darker than the previous three seasons. The new series shows Benedict Cumberbatch sporting a gruff look. Dr John Watson’s (played by Martin Freeman) ominous warning leaves you gasping for more, “The roads we walk, house demons beneath...And yours have been waiting for a very long time.”
The teaser along with its three ‘clues’ was also unveiled at Comic-Con recently. The three words were: Thatcher, Smith, and Sherrinford.
During the panel discussion, fans asked the makers of the show a lot of questions about the TV adaption of Arthur Conan Doyle’s book. Co-creator of the show Mark Gatiss, who also plays Sherlock’s brother on the BBC series, revealed some interesting tid-bits of what fans can expect from the show’s new season.
