Funny man, Tanmay Bhat, has tickled the wrong bones this time. The comedian – who last week was hailed as a hero for busting the F-bomb myth – has now turned into a villain for mocking two of the greatest Maharashtrian icons, Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar.
Aila!
Phir kya tha? The AIB member dug his own big, fat grave and was all prepared to get roasted!
‘Sachin vs Lata Civil War’ has spawned a new battle between Marathi Manoos Sena aka Maharashtra Navnirman Sena and serial antagoniser aka Tanmay Bhat.
Jai Maharashtra!
Tanmay, we all know laughter is the best medicine but, in your case, let’s ensure that it doesn’t go sour. In short, let’s try not to piss of Raj Thackeray and Co.
So here’s a list of people who you should definitely not be making fun of.
Salman Khan
You cannot mess with the Hulk of Bollywood – Salman Khan, the godfather of tinsel town. ’Cuz once the god gets angry, he spares no one. And if you think you could get away with an apology... Ha ha ha! Oops, sorry Arijit Singh, we weren’t mocking you.
Smriti Irani
Why would you want to amuse others at Smriti Irani’s expense? The woman is not ‘qualified’ enough to understand your jokes. Well, until and unless you crack them in Sanskrit.
Hmmm.
But still... Let’s keep the HRD (Humour Resource Development) Minister out of it.
Hrithik Roshan
Are FIRs LOL-worthy enough that you also crave a lawsuit to entertain you? Yes, that’s probably one legal document you have yet to stamp your name on. And Hrithik Roshan would need no Jadoo but only a fancy lawyer to send you a lawsuit for making a ‘silly’ joke about him, directly or indirectly.
Seriously, you don’t need a whiner to suck the fun out of ya on social media, do you now?
Pahlaj Nihalani
There is no point mocking Pahlaj Nihalani, as he never fails to crack us, Mowgli, and James Bond up with his notorious censorship decisions. But you do need to be careful of the man, as he might just find a way to hack into your account and censor your sin-skari acts to turn them into sanskari acts.
NewsX
This is one organisation you must never joke with or joke at. ’Cuz they’ve missed the sarcasm bus by light years.
NewsX decided to report a sarcastic tweet by Tanmay as a serious statement and played it on prime time.
For an organisation that prides itself on being ‘News Without Noise’, that’s quite a hullabaloo.
