Addicted to YouTube? Well blame it on these guys who keep us glued to our comps with their fun, artistic, humorous self. Here are my list of the top five YouTube stars who won my heart, likes and YouTube subscriptions in 2015.

Superwoman

Now, Superwoman doesn’t need an introduction, does she? Lilly Singh aka Superwoman is one of the biggest YouTube stars world over. Forbes recently ranked her in the top 10 of top-earning stars on YouTube. And you will die a little when you find out how much this woman makes. Lilly who has more than 7 million subscribers has made some $2.5 million from her videos over the past year and is also starting another series on YouTube Red. And this year has been extra special as she did a world tour for her fans. That’s superb woman!

Jus Reign

No one can pull-off a Sardar joke better than a Sardar himself and Jasmeet Singh aka Jus Reign proves that over and over again. He has around 600,000 subscribers on his channel and there’s a very good reason for it. Jasmeet’s videos are filled with music, parodies, short funny sketches and most popular of all- his take on ‘desi parents’.

Rickshawali

I have to confess Rickshawali videos never fail to crack me up. They are quirky, fun and always have a message. Rickshawali aka Anisha Dixit aims to spread awareness by entertaining the Hinglish section of the society. She has more than fifty thousand subscribers. Check out her video on periods which starts with Frozen’s popular track Do You Want to Build a Snowman... and you’ll turn a fan yourself.

Humble the Poet

Humble the Poet aka Kanwar Singh is an Indian YouTube sensation (though technically a Canadian). He has a large following of over a lakh subscribers who mostly surf in to catch his thought provoking videos and his original music compositions. What’s more, he is best friends with Superwoman so don’t be surprised if you see them together too.

Shudh Desi Gaane

We are sure you’ve seen the Gerua parody featuring Shah Rukh Khan himself. But that’s not the only video that Salil Jamdar (the master mind at Shudh Desi Gaane) has made, his team has become pioneering experts at taking the mickey out of Bollywood songs through their spoofy viral videos. Shudh Desi Gaane have more than 63,000 subscribers and are surely cooking up a mini storm online.
