Star Wars needs no introduction. I could tell you how a space opera franchise went on to become a pop culture phenomenon, but that isn’t relevant at the moment. Without further ado, here is great news for Star Wars fans everywhere. The trailer for the new Star Wars movie, which will release on December 18 this year, is out and here’s what it looks like.
The trailer already has over 251 thousand views on YouTube at the time this article was written, which was approximately half an hour after the trailer’s release.
The official movie poster left fans mystified: Where was Luke Skywalker? Who and what is that tiny person next to R2D2 Maz Kanata? Where is Supreme Leader Snoke or General Hux?
Is the trailer any clearer? I’d tell you, but I promised: no spoilers.
This is Disney’s first attempt at a Star Wars film (they’ve promised us a trilogy) and while puritans may be a little skeptical, there’s no doubt that the movie will be cause for much excitement, even among the skeptics.
