Shah Rukh Khan wants his bestie and Koffee With Karan host Karan Johar, to grill him on his popular talk show, when he’s 90 years old. Karan shared his worst nightmare as an interviewer on Twitter. What was it? Well, it’s probably the most awkward interview you’ve ever seen. Jerry Lewis, the iconic American actor, comedian, singer, producer, director and screenwriter, gave the most frustratingly curt (and hilarious) interview to Andy Lewis of The Hollywood Reporter. For poor Andy the seven minute long interview felt nothing less than seven hours, because his interviewee seemed to be in one of his nasty moods.
For Karan Johar, who is probably India’s most famous celebrity interviewer, nothing could be worse than an experience like this. As KJo shudders at the thought of it, Shah Rukh Khan hopes that he’ll be the lucky one to get grilled by him when he’s 90.
Karan of course hopes that SRK would be kinder to him than Jerry was to Andy.
Andy Lewis responded to Karan’s tweet sharing his frustration, but SRK was impressed by his persistence.
Now wouldn’t it be interesting to watch a 90 year old Shah Rukh Khan snubbing off his old friend Karan Johar, who’ll be about 80 himself, on national television!
Coming back to Jerry though, he just busted the myth about comedians being inherently funny. Well, it seems Shah Rukh Khan gets his sarcasm, and who knows what he’ll be like at 90.
Here’s hoping that Koffee With Karan is still running forty years from now!
