Producer-director Aditya Chopra is said to have approached Shah Rukh Khan for the role of the villain for Dhoom 4. According to DNA, Chopra has offered the role to SRK after Salman Khan, who consciously chooses not to play negative characters on screen, refused it.
According to a source, “Shah Rukh has been approached by Chopra for D4. Talks about dates and remuneration are on... Dhoom baddies are cool and stylish. It’s more in the Don space, which works for SRK.”
Talks are on regarding dates and the paycheck.
Ranveer Singh is also supposedly replacing Abhishek Bachchan as ACP Jai Dixit, the tough cop with a golden heart, while the hunt for an actor to play Ali, the lovable but bungling sidekick played by Uday Chopra, is still on.
The Dhoom franchise has given rise to a range of uber cool villains in Bollywood, played by John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan. SRK would no doubt bring a lot of groove to the table.
