A few days ago, Sonu Nigam starred in a video by the YouTube channel Being Indian where he was disguised as a ragged, old singer, singing on the streets of Mumbai.
His singing gathered an audience but there was one man in particular who requested to record his singing and then handed him Rs 12 for having some food.
Nigam, who revealed later in the video how touched he was with the gesture, also expressed his desire to meet the boy. Being Indian tracked the youth – Shahbaz Ali Sayyed.
Sonu Nigam went live on Being Indian’s Facebook page for a live chat, where an unsuspecting Sayyed was brought out to meet him.
In the heartwarming video, Sayyed is surprised to meet Sonu and rushes to hug him. Nigam goes on to show Shabaz how he framed the money he gave him and kept it alongside his other awards.
Shabaz was speechless about the ordeal and called it “the most precious experience” of his life.
