Sonam And Ranbir Kapoor To Reunite For Sanjay Dutt’s Biopic

The stars will be seen on screen together after 10 years since Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’.

Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor are reuniting on screen 10 years after their debut film Saawariya - this time for Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt. While Ranbir would be playing Dutt, Sonam would play one of the Bollywood actresses from the 1990s who Dutt dated.

According to Mumbai Mirror, Sonam will shoot for the film next year. The news has been confirmed by Raju Hirani.

Her character is not reflective of any particular woman but is a fictional amalgamation of the many women Dutt dated through the 1980s and ’90s.

Ranbir will reportedly undergo a complete transformation for the role and will start shooting next year. The film also stars his Ae Dil Hai Mushkil co-star, Anushka Sharma, who plays a journalist in the film.
