Indian Army’s Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Lt Gen Ranbir Singh today announced that the Army had conducted surgical strikes along the Line of Control (LoC) last night. Terrorists had, according to the Army, begun gathering in large numbers along the LoC with the objective of infiltrating and targeting locations in Jammu and Kashmir and other metros.

Celebrities took to social media to applaud these efforts by the Indian Army.
Zee Head, Subhash Chandra who took the step to discontinue Pakistani shows on popular channel, Zindagi also hailed the surgical operation.
Chetan Bhagat also put out a series of tweets. In the first one applauding the Indian army. But in the following tweet wrote, “Nothing to be proud of.” It looks like the author of Half Girlfriend could not make up his mind.
