1. It’s Confirmed! SRK’s Raees & Hrithik’s Kaabil to Clash on Republic Day

Despite best efforts by Shah Rukh Khan to avoid a clash, his film Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil are slated for release on 26 January 2017. King Khan had earlier shifted his release date from Eid because of Salman Khan’s Sultan to next year. This was a wise decision considering overwhelming response to Salman’s film at the world box office.

Shah Rukh had visited the Mohenjo Daro actor to meet with his father and producer of Kaabil, Rakesh Roshan about the clash and if it could be avoided. SRK tweeted about the same as well.

According to reports by The Indian Express, Rakesh Roshan then told Bombay Times that his film would be releasing on Republic Day as earlier planned. The director of Kaabil, Sanjay Gupta announced the news on Twitter.

2. PeeCee Enjoyed Being Bad More Than She Should on Baywatch

Priyanka Chopra says she enjoyed playing an evil character in her latest film, Baywatch. The film is based on the 90s popular television beach drama where Priyanka plays Victoria Leeds opposite Dwayne Johnson. The actor recently opened up that she truly enjoys being bad on the screen because it’s something one does not get to do in real life.

The best part of working on Baywatch is to be the villain of the movie. I don’t think The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson has ever had anyone who’s been mean to him. He’s a great guy but Victoria is a bitch. Victoria is mean and patronising and evil just because she can be and I don’t know if Dwayne’s ever had that. So to me that was the best part of doing Baywatch and getting on my high heels and on my tippy toes and doing mean things and getting away with it. I enjoyed it way more than I should. Being bad is like an addiction, because we don’t get to do that in real life.

Priyanka is busy shooting for the second season of her American thriller, Quantico which will air in September.
