1. Salman Khan & Sonakshi Sinha Show Their Moves on ‘Nach Baliye’

Salman Khan made an appearance on the reality dance show Nach Baliye along with co-star and brother Sohail Khan to make some noise about his Eid release, Tubelight. The Khan brothers were joined by actress Sonakshi Sinha, who is a judge on the show. Sinha, who made her debut opposite Salman in Dabangg, grooved with the star to the songs of Tubelight.

2. Himesh’s Divorce Note Is the Most Bizarre Thing You’ll Read Today

In no-one-really-cares news today, Himesh Reshammiya and his wife Komal have been granted a divorce officially. Before you start judging me for even reporting this, let me come straight to why it is completely bizarre. The singer-actor felt the need to hire a PR firm to spread the word about his brand new ‘single’ status. Not just that, the note even includes the name and photograph of a mystery lady named Sonia, and it looks like she might have played ‘the other woman’ in their little paradise.

Wait, it gets better.

Himesh’s now ex-wife Komal has found it in her heart to clarify what Sonia means to their family!

3. Anupam Kher’s Film Will Need an NOC From Manmohan Singh: Nihalani

On Tuesday morning, the world woke up to the announcement that Anupam Kher will play former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh in a film adaptation of Sanjaya Baru’s book, The Accidental Prime Minister. However, CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani warns that the film’s makers would have to abide by the rudimentary guideline regarding all films based on real-life characters.

The makers of The Accidental Prime Minister – producer Sunil Bohra and Ashoke Pandit, would have to get an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from Manmohan Singhji, Sonia Gandhi​ji ​and all the other real-life politicians who are part of the narrative. This rule applies without fail. There are no exceptions. And although my current tenure as the CBFC chairperson ends in January 2018 and this film will come up for censorship after that, I am sure the guidelines regarding biopics would remain unchanged.

4. Anupam Kher Tweets Poster of ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’

After Anupam Kher confirmed that he would be playing former PM Manmohan Singh in the film The Accidental Prime Minister, based on Sanjaya Baru’s book by the same name, the actor today tweeted the first poster of the film.
