A ‘Dabangg’ time is what Karan clearly wanted for the 100th episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’.

Karan Johar, much like the rest of the nation, knows that anything with Salman Khan in it will sell quicker than Reliance Jio SIM cards. So it was only befitting that he got Bhai-Khan along with his bhaijaans Sohail and Arbaaz Khan for the 100th episode of his show.

Karan got emotional during his opening monologue on how the show became a huge part of his life, given that he’s been hosting it for 12 years. Yep. 12. YEARS.

If there’s another season of the show, it’ll enter its rebellious teenage years and it’ll be fun to see how Johar manages to father it, while still trying to stay relevant after interviewing all of tinsel-town many times over.

This is all that simmered on screen, ICYMI.

Virgin, Again?

“Are you still a virgin?”

That was the very first question Johar asked the 50-year-old Khan on his “virginity ka vrat” from his first time on the couch.

And well, nothing has changed according to Salman, who says he’s still a virgin.

But Salman, isn’t this prudish gag getting too old? Just admit to your promiscuity and move on. You’ll still get the TRPs because of the other controversial things you say, don’t worry.

During the rapid fire, when Karan asked Arbaaz who would be most likely to stay celibate for a month, he cavalierly pointed to his older brother. Hmmm.

Time to Read the Newspaper?

Arbaaz, unlike his brother was a much better sport about his personal life. All through the episode, he took jabs about his divorce like a champ.

When Salman was talking about the closeness of the brothers and their families, he said “these guys are married”, to which Arbaaz was quick to say “Don’t you read the papers?”

Of all three brothers, Arbaaz was the one who was the most comfortable on the couch. Maybe he should make a comeback in the next season?

Not Good At Relationships

That’s the confession Salman made about himself, sneakily avoiding another question about his personal life, when asked if he was dating Iulia Vantur.

Arbaaz was quick to chime in saying “He (Salman) was good to others”, hinting at his brother’s past relationships. He also said they got close to Salman’s girlfriends, albeit after they broke up.

They’re clearly taking the “keep the love in the family” adage a little too seriously.

Luck by Chance

Salman said he just lucked out as an actor, calling his brothers much more talented than him.

He was full of adulation for their talent as directors and producers.

Salman also displayed some stellar work ethic, when he said he wouldn’t go for a party at night after ditching work, when he knows someone might not get their salary if he does not show up for a shoot.

Sohail also complimented his brother saying, “he looks forward to working the way others look forward to taking vacations.”

While his movies may be substandard, his work ethic makes one wish he did better quality stuff.

A Wedding Like No Other

The trio shared cute anecdotes about their family, but one that Sohail shared might be the best Koffee revelation there is.

Sohail eloped with his girlfriend at the time and his friends kidnapped a Maulvi from the masjid, only for them to realise he was the same Maulvi that daddy Salim Khan’s friends kidnapped when he eloped with Sushila Charak!

Meme for the Road

Since you patiently read through this review, it’s only befitting to give you a meme. When Karan asked the men who would be the bartender out of the three, Sohail said it would be Salman, as he’s always behind bars.
