1. My Film is Different From Aamir’s: Salman Khan

Comparisons between Salman Khan’s Sultan and Aamir Khan’s Dangal are pretty evident since both the films are about wrestlers but according to an NDTV report Salman sees no point in comparing both these films.

Aamir is scared? He is doing Dangal and he is scared! Then why did he do Dangal? Why would Aamir be scared. My film is different from his. Both of us knew that the two films are about wrestling. In that case, does it mean that if Shah Rukh Khan is doing a love story then I won’t do it? I have heard Aamir’s script and it is outstanding.

2. Udta Punjab Releases in Pakistan Against Producers’ Wish

Udta Punjab has opened in Pakistani cinemas but fans apparently prefer the pirated version of the film as they are disappointed with the 100 cuts imposed by the country’s censor board. Earlier this week, the Pakistani Censor Board passed the movie only after 100 cuts and an ‘A’ certificate.

The makers had decided against the film’s release in Pakistan as they were unhappy with the decision of the Pakistani Censor Board.
Director Abhishek Chaubey told PTI

Strangely enough, the movie hit Pakistani screens on June 24, reported Dawn. Movie goers were reportedly left disappointed with the cuts and many muted dialogues and have now turned to the movie’s pirated copy available online.

3. Sky is the Limit For Alia Bhatt

After doing films like Highway and Udta Punjab it’s clear that Alia Bhatt has proved that she is a director’s actor. Critics have given her a big thumbs up for not just her performances but also the kind of roles she is taking up. Alia told IANS that with the right guidance, “sky is the limit” for her.

I think each character is different for me, but I am a director’s actor. So if I get the right vision and right guidance from my director, I think sky is the limit for me
