2017 truly seems to be the year of Rajkummar Rao. Pehredaar Piya Ki, one of Indian television’s most controversial daily soaps in recent times, has been taken off air with effect from August 28, following petitions demanding the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to ban the show for its regressive storyline.

4. Bollywood Star Kids Face Probe by Police for Assaulting Classmate
Children of two Bollywood celebrities, reportedly, beat up their classmate and face probe after five months, by the police. According to a report in Mid-day, the two minors (whose names have been withheld) allegedly assaulted their classmate.
According to the report, the complaint has gone directly to the juvenile court after the two minors allegedly thrashed their 13-year-old classmate outside his home.
5. Ram Rahim Verdict: Kiku Sharda Says His Meals Are Now MSG-Free
Kiku Sharda would be a happy man today. The comedian, who was sent to 14 days of judicial custody in January 2016 for imitating Dera Sacha Sauda chief, Ram Rahim, took a slight dig at the “godman” for his 20 year prison sentence for raping two women.
