It’s new year’s eve and finally, Bigg Boss contestants take a break from fighting, competing and quarrelling. Salman Khan might be super pissed with Swami Om and Rohan, but today he’s in the mood to shake his leg and give them a good shake too.
Salman flags off the Bigg Boss Non-Stop New Year Dhaka with his signature moves to Humka Peeni Hai. Just before celebrations begin, bhai asks the inmates to share their experiences so far. And what about resolutions for the new year? Nitibha says she wants to make it big as an actor, aur Swami ji ke iraade Salman ko bhi samajh nahi aaye. This guy wants to introduce a Bigg Boss world tour! I expected him to say something swami-like. But you already know that we ain’t dealing with no god-man.
Salman brings along a new year luxury task that will let the housemates win some goodies. But he’s not giving these away ainvayi. Bhai gets Lopa to talk about Bani and Swami to comment on Rohan. Lola thinks Bani’s new year resolution should be to not walk out of conversations she is losing. And Swami says that Roha should work on his maturity in the new year.
New year’s eve in the Bigg Boss house sees performances galore. Preetjyot from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa enters the house walking and talking like Salman. He almost had them fooled, but Salman makes a grand entry. As he moves and groves to his hit songs, everyone in the house is dancing and excited. Salman even gives them all ‘honest titles’. Lopa and Bani get the ‘Jani Dushman’ sash, while Gaurav is declared the biggest kaamchor. Swamiji wins ‘Footage King’ and ‘Biggest Bhukkad’ titles. Bani also gets the funny ‘Kehna Kya Chahte Ho’ title for reasons we all know too well, but sadly she has to share it with Gaurav. Manu is ‘Mr Namkeen’ and Om Swami bags the ‘Kaano Ka Khooni’ award. These titles sound like Salman thought of these himself!
Guess who else is in the house today? Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa contestants Salman Yusuf Khan, Teriya Magar, Karishma Tanna and Shantanu Maheshwari set the stage on fire with their dhamakedaar performances.
Bringing alive the strange friendship shared between Bani and Gaurav, Teriya and Preetjyot dance to Yeh Ladka hai Deewana, while Salman joins Shantanu as they give a foot tapping performance to Aaj Ki Party. The night draws to a close with Manveer predicting what 2017 holds for each one of them. As the clock strikes 12, housemates along with Salman Khan bid adieu to 2016 by cutting a cake and sharing their new year wishes.
All’s well that ends well. I’m talking about 2016, god knows how Bigg Boss will end :P
