Father Salim Asks Why His Apology for Salman Didn’t Stop the Media

Salim Khan has questioned why the media carried on the debate after he apologised on behalf of Salman.

The debate on Salman Khan’s outrageous rape analogy has taken yet another turn. His father Salim had earlier said that despite what Salman said his intention was not wrong.

He even apologised on behalf of the superstar. But every time Salman had a chance to do the same, he chose to remain silent.

Now his father has made several comments on how the media has taken the issue to a point of saturation when he had hoped his apology early on would end the debate for good. He also asked what is the meaning of holding a person “under the guillotine, who knows rightly or wrongly that he has not committed a crime.”
